Kahk's Story

Kahk, the younger brother of Bruga Temiragta was the son of an Agha of a medium sized Ayimag. His father was well respected for his wisdom and bravery and the Ayimag were very nomadic, as they were often attacked by nearby militia, who didn't like the Monggol presence near their villages.

One time though, Kahk's father decided that he was going to lead the Ayimag in an attack against the town's militia, although his plans were made too late. The town's milita attacked Kahk's Tosgon, and were slaughtering women and children alike. Kahk's father ran to Kahk and Bruga, who were very young at the time, and told them to run to the nearby woods and hide until the battle was over so they would not be killed.

Kahk and Bruga hid in the woods for hours, but the battle raged on, although in the end the militia seemed to be getting the upper hand. Kahk's father told the non-warriors to run and leave the villiage, and he led them away towards the woods that Kahk and Bruga were hiding. He and two other warriors were carrying the injured away from the battle while others fought on. And that's when it happened.

Kahk and Bruga watched in confusion as their father and the two others stepped through a gate and dissapeared into thin air. At first they thought it was some Buyu that one of the villagers must have known, and they waited in the woods.

An hour later, the Tosgon was a pile of ash, all the Ger were destroyed and everyone had been slaughtered. They emerged from the woods when it was safe and headed towards the gate to look for their father, they shouted but he did not reply. Then they realised that it wasn't an ordinary gate, and it wasn't some simple buyu that made their father dissapear. They looked back on their burnt down villiage and realised there was only one thing they both wanted. Their father.

Together they stepped into the Moongate, and arrived at their new home.
